Verified Reviewer |Was not informed of changes to Aztil's contract! Found less expense repair option. They are overpriced!
I have been an Aztil customer for many years. On a recent call to them, I found out that they no longer do plumbing work nor do they service appliances.
When I signed the contract with them, these services were part of the contract. Would this then be a breach of contract? Upon speaking with Sabrina, their customer service representative, I was informed that these services were no longer included as of 2023, and I would receive a refund. Keep this in mind, my contract runs through 2027, and my refund was sent to me in the amount of $7.06!
OK, so now an issue to be brought up with the BBB and Palm Beach County. They told me this was a special offer for an additional $100 - NOT! I moved here in 2010 and all these services were always a part of their contract. Since my contract has a twice a year check up on my a/c, I went ahead and scheduled it.
The tech was extremely knowledgeable and let me know that my filter dryer was leaking, and I needed freone. This came with a price tag of $1,229. I thanked him for his information and found a reputable and honest person named Greg from Greg's Air Solutions, 954-240-****. Called him, told him what the issue was, he showed up the same day and did the whole job for $250!
How is this possible? So, the story goes, AZTIL IS A RIP OFF! Dishonest people trying to take advantage of you!
Don't use them! Sabrina and the others that have taken over and made a corporation out of Aztil to make money from people that wouldn't think of going outside of their contracts because they trust Aztil to do the right thing - NOT!!

June 24 Aztil Air.
The technician came out and said the entire unit was shot. Both the inside and outside needed to be replaced.
Due to how the unit is in the unit I needed to order a specific unit and there was only one available the cost would be $10,500.00. This unit would be an exact fit as the old unit and would not require any cutting of the exterior wall of the building. June 25, they came out to install the unit only to find out that the new unit was too big, and the exterior wall of the building would need to be cut bigger with an additional 5'inch on all sides. The let me know I need to get a hold of the association to get approval for this cut.
This took a full day. I received permission from the association from the President with the understanding that the exterior of the building would need to be fixed to look like all the other units. I spoke to Mark, a manager at Aztil who said yes, they would have the unit match all the other units in the building on the exterior wall.
June 26, they completed the job.
July 3rd The unit a complete block of ice (pictures and videos can be provided) July 4th the technician came out to find out the air handler had a defective part and they were going to order the part it would be in in 3-5 days July 8th, I called the company to speak to a manger and they gave me Diane. Diane let me know that the part would take three weeks.
I explained that the unit could not have no ac for three weeks. She agreed and stated they would get me a new handler that this was a manufacturer defect, and they would replace the handler. This would take 3-5 day. July 12, I called for an update on the unit.
The receptionist said a manger would call me back. No call back. NO CORRESPONDENCE FROM THEM UNTIL July 23rd.
July 23 Jack called me to say they have the part for the unit.
I stated I did not want the part. Diane told me that there was a manufacture defect, and I was told I was getting a new unit 3 weeks ago.
August 6 I called to speak to the onwer on record Travis Lioyns No call back.I still don't have AC at the unit

DECEMBER 2022:
I have one of the 5 year maintenance plans with Aztil that covers 2 AC tune-ups a year as well as any service on any of my plumbing or major appliances (dishwasher, oven, water heater, refrigerator). I think I paid $595 for this about two years ago.
My water heater started leaking out of the outlet pipe just after I purchased the plan.
I have had 30+ calls to them to fix it and they just fixed it yesterday, over a year and a half later. There were dozens of repeated promises for someone to be sent out "that day" or the "day after" which never materialized. And guess what--they end up charging me $75 for it--and claim it as "materials cost". The only cost, aside from labor, was the sub-$20 flex hose.
They are charging me because I use my plan too much.
They even tried to sell me a 2nd $500+ UV light (I already had a top of the line REME Halo UV light in my AC) to try and recoup some of their lost money. It is not my fault that they sold me the 5 year plan for such a low cost and that I have used it several times to fix leaky toilets and that I actually get my AC tune-ups done every 6 months.
I have even asked for a call from the owners, Lisa and Louis (Lewis?), and was promised a call back from the plumbing manager, Ken Matthews, several times, and I have yet to receive a call back from them. Every time you call in, they are either in a meeting, or not there.
DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY.
JUNE 2024 UPDATE:
After a period of very poor experience with this company, the owner, Analisa Whiting, reached out to me personally and offered to help me if I was ever experiencing issues. She was helpful, but it is very sad that it had to come to the owner contacting me to get issues resolved by a business with over 100 employees.
Their customer service is horrendous and the techs often miss their appointment windows or just never show up.
After today's appointment was missed, I called in and found that the previous owner, Analisa, is no longer the owner, and Aztil is now owned by "Cascade".
I would recommend paying a few extra dollars for a maintenance plan from a better company so that you can get more reliable service. Do not make my mistake!

The ac went to 76 in my house. If I call you are supposed to come out.
They refused to come out and said tomorrow.
Not good enough. Why do I have a contract if you refuse to show up ?

I purchased a 2-year service contract with this company, but they will not answer the phone or return messages, so I cannot make an appointment. This has been going on for 3 months.

Very poor emergency service
Required several calls to get an emergency appointment. Technician promised to come at certain time and never showed up.
Another technician came but did not have needed supplies with him. Remote answering service could give me no information about my time for service and could not tell me where I was in the technicians schedule.considering that I have a contract the service is terrible.

No response whatsoever for my more than 6 hours call for service
Seven hours after my first service call, no one has called or shown up.
Aztil installed a no brand A/C unit more then 2 years ago. I have to call Aztil several times since then, ,and most to the times they responded within a reasonable time.
Today I called for more than 6 hours, starting at about 1:00 PM, whit no response at all until now, 7:45 PM. My house is now at more than 90 degrees, No calls or apologies so far I will not advise any one to deal with Aztil

ST UNDI called to make an appointment for my bi-yearly AC checkup. I waited from 9-12 noon.
No one showed . Called again....no show. Called a 3rd tie .They said they'ed be there between 9-12. I got a call at 8:30 am to verify.
They said they would be there SOON.
No one showed again. I'm fed up!

After moving to Florida this past year, we used Aztil for AC maintenance twice, purchased a service contract, had appliance repair and then spent over 6k to install a new air conditioning unit. I am disgusted by the customer service.
People call from the office and schedule appointments. Then on the day of the appt., when I call to reconfirm, I am told (this has happened 3 times) that we are not on the schedule. Several times the person answering the phone has been rude and unpleasant. Twice for service they have been late, past the 4 hour window.
No call to advise as a mere courtesy. Today, after I went to the trouble of clearing out the walk in closet so that a part that was NOT in when the new AC was installed could be put in place, the service manager was a no show. It is as if our lives do not matter and we can prep and then wait almost 6-7 hours. A no show?
Really? To be held hostage is not an option, there are other companies out there if Aztil doesn't value their customers.

1. Three days with a new broken air conditioning system and still no resolution.
WORST SERVICE DELIVERY EVER.
2. Last night system didnt cool at all after yet another tech service ll.
3. This is unacceptable, 90+ degrees with small kids.
4. Need URGENT unit replacement, cant wait another week without part when they only take two days for a full install.
THERE IS NO EXCUSE.
5. Want to talk to their president, look for legal advice and fill out complaints on applicable forums.

Tried to sell me an air conditioning unit within 10 minutes of speaking to me.... I threw them out....$ 239 fix the problem they are scammers never ever use!

Tried to sell me coils for the ac unit. found out they were not needed
Tried to sell me coils for the ac unit; said the unit was not under warranty when I was told it was, and wanted to charge 2000 dollars for the work. A person recommended by someone else to check the ac unit said everything is fine.
Aztil was originally contacted because the ac was not working.
I have seen this "coil" issue on their website recently. Apparently, they have told other people that the coils need to be replaced.

I called about a broken toilet. They said it would be three days before they could come.
I have a contract that I paid $500.00 for. A smelly toilet was not important. I am 80 years old and had to go out in a bad coronavirus time to buy a $5.00 part which I fixed my problem with in 10 minutes.
If I needed a new AC, they would have come ASAP because that was thousands of dollars to them. I have been a customer for 10 years but will not renew my contract or buy an AC from them when needed.D

Our experience with them has not been favorable. We initially paid for a service contract and paid an additional $500 for a split air conditioner for an outside room.
Six months after Aztil knew it worked it stopped working. They said we needed new parts that they could not get. We called other companies that were able to get the parts. Aztil would not pro-rate the $500 and said they would extend our contract instead for another year.
We never received a copy of that contract. The owner called today and went back on his word and refused to extend it.
To go to small claims court would cost about $400 so its not worth suing. Aztil is not to be trusted.

I have had nothing but problems since they installed my new Air conditioning, they come and put Freon which is totally useless, changed a coil that had burnt out and a thermostat that was faulty, the temperature that keeps going up. Have piles of receipts to prove what they had done.
I am totally dissatisfied and would never recommend this company. They should refund me the money i paid for their air conditioning and take it all away, so that i can use a reliable company that would not give me the anxiety that i am going through.

Worked great for me.
My hot water tank broke and water was pouring out one of the fittings. I shut the water off and called Aztil and they had a guy out pretty quick to fix it.
It couldn't be fixed and said he would be back tomorrow to change it out at 12 PM. Manny showed up right on time and did a real nice job. Very happy with the great service. Thank you Aztil for the quick response and the great Tech.
